Bob and Robin's Backyard

July 1st Through July 12^th, 2000

Almost as soon as they arrived from Florida, Brandi and Chris were roaring around the pasture on the tractor.

While adults sat in the shade and watched the activities

By Nightfall we have all established the “base camp” in the house.

Soon we are all out walking the trails of the “Backyard”. The Airboat surprises the guests

We walked around the trail to show Chris the ruins of the Boy Scout Cabin

Back at the House we get treated to a rainbow

and deer show up in the pasture to graze

The Kid’s ask to borrow the neighbor’s trampoline

On one of several outings around the area Chris watches the clouds roll in along the Blue Ridge Parkway at 6000 feet above sea level.

and another day Bethanne, Chris and Brandi enjoy the view at World’s Edge

Another trip to Chimney Rock and it’s time for a quick swim in the Rocky Broad River

And now it’s time to load up supplies and go backpacking to the Thompson River
